Established
in 2002, Oxford Cycle Workshop recycles bikes
form a variety of local sources, runs a busy
repair shop, runs a membership scheme, maintenance
classes and cycle training, a regular email
newsletter and works with youth offendors. Oh
and we established this site!

project is committed to refurbishing donated
bikes, repairing customer's
bikes & selling re-useable parts. We are
also working on a partnership agreement
with the local Probation Service to offer unpaid
work for offenders. In addition,
we continue to provide intermediate work placements
for people facing significant
barriers to employment.

is a charity that collects and ships second
hand bicycles and parts to less developed countries,
where many people have no transport and have
to walk long distances. With the help of their
partners they also teach local people the skills

Bikes for the Bush

by prisoners at Stafford Prison. 100 bicycles
are being revitalised for shipment to Africa
in September. These bicycles will provide real
